Covid-19 update: Client advice on what to do during the Coronavirus crisis
Caring for your pet as if it was our own
Patients hospitalised with us are kept in comfortable and spacious kennels where we can keep a close eye on them. At the Winterbourne practice, we have a separate area for cats away from dogs as we know some cats can find it stressful being hospitalised. We make every effort to ensure your pet's stay with us is as comfortable as possible and all pets are guaranteed to be given plenty of TLC by our friendly team.
It may be necessary for your pet to be hospitalised overnight. No staff members remain on site through the night so if your pet requires overnight hospitalisation we may advise they are transferred to our local 24-hour hospital which is based in Bradley Stoke. Transfer of your pet to and from the hospital in the Veterinary Ambulance can be arranged at your request.
Stable patients not requiring treatment or monitoring through the night may be hospitalised on-site, if this is deemed appropriate after discussion with the vet responsible for your pet’s care.
